Design Considerations

The design incorporates street art, graffiti style; a combination of communist propaganda poster and anarchistic copy. The man and woman depicted here are set in the midst of a headless man in a suit, slices of steaks and some kind of steel structure. Upon closer inspection , bite marks are seen along the edges of the three objects surrounding the couple.

On top of the several layers, I’ve overlaid a semi-transparent reddish layer. This is to make the montage look more uniform in colour. The red tint also evokes a sense of anger, which is in-line with the headline which communicates capitalism’s (and pseudo-communist economies’) insatiable hunger for resources such as labour, food and steel.
